About me
Idalia Flores de la Mota holds a Ph.D. in Operations Research and is a Full-Time Tenured Professor “C” at the Faculty of Engineering, UNAM, as well as a National Researcher SNI-C. With over 35 years of academic experience, her research focuses on optimization and simulation applied to industrial, transportation, and service systems. She has supervised more than 100 theses, served on editorial and scientific committees, and participated in international conferences. She has received distinctions such as the Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz Award and several Special Chairs. Her work includes books, chapters, and high-impact scientific articles.
